Welcome to Alford Craft Market
We are busy booking in stallholders for our Spring Bank Holiday Weekend Craft Market at the end of May! We will be having a theme of ceramics with lots of different studio potters attending. There will be demonstrations of pottery, have a go yourself sessions, pottery films, an exhibition and a competition for the best jug. If you are a potter or a craftsperson who is interested in having a stall please get in touch.
There will also be a display of the 1200 clay birds which were made in early 2020 by the people of Alford and the surrounding villages. Come and see yours if you made one! They have all been fired and are ready to be on display.
Great news! We will be able to reopen the physical Alford Craft Market Shop from Tuesday April 13th. Then every day except Sundays and Mondays after that 10am - 4pm each day.
Sadly our Craft Centre is still closed in line with lockdown rules.
Our Online Shop (photos of categories below) is expanding fast so keep a look out for new items being added that can be delivered to you or a loved one by post.

We have had some canvas shopping bags made - much better than using plastic bags. The design is from our very first Alford Craft Market poster in 1974 by Countryside Arts of Swaby, near Alford - buy from us via our online shop @ £3.75 including postage and packing.
