Information We Collect
When you book a class on our website or at the Alford Craft Market Shop, ask to go on our mailing lists, or make a card payment at the Alford Craft Market Shop for goods, we collect the following types of information:-

Information You Provide Us
Some information is required to book a class or go on our mailing lists such as your name, home address, email address and your telephone number.
Payment and Card Information
To book and pay for a class on our website you must provide certain information for identification and verification, such as your name, credit, debit or other card number, card expiration date, and CVV code. This information is encrypted and sent to your card network, which upon approval sends us back an email saying you have paid.  Our card service provider Stripe stores the last four digits of your card number and your card issuer’s name and contact information.

Usage Information
When you book a class we will record your booking and payment on our electronic system.  When you buy something at the Alford Craft Market Shop using the card machine provider will notify us of the payment that includes your name, and the amount paid.  We will keep this as a record of payment so that we can pay the craftsperson or tutor for their work.
If you book at stall at one of our events we will record your booking and payment on our electronic system and in paper form along with your Risk Assessment and Public Liability documents.  

How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:-
To provide and maintain the Service
Using the information we collect, we are able to deliver our services to you. For example, we may need to use your information to provide you with updates about your class, or stall booking.
Communicate with You
Google ACMC mailbase - We use your information to send you email notifications about new classes that have been added to our brochure or our events. You can control our emails by using via the “Unsubscribe” link in an email. acmc-mailbase+unsubscribe@googlegroups.com.

How Information Is Shared - we will only share your name and telephone number with  your tutor if you have booked a class.  Apart from that we wont share your personal information with anyone unless there are exceptional circumstances. When an email is sent to a group all recipient email addresses are hidden.
For Legal Reasons or To Prevent HarmWe may preserve or disclose information about you to comply with an investigation into an illegal activity, fraud, abuse, or the physical safety of any person.


Your Rights To Access and Control Your Personal Data
You can ask us to supply you with what information we hold about you.  It is your right to access, correct, port and erase such personal data (i.e. the “right to be forgotten”), and to withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data. You can amend or erase your data by emailing us or writing to us and we will carry out the change and confirm those changes within 30 days.
Data Retention
We keep your account information, like your name, email address and address for our records, but you can ask us to delete your record as long as we don’t need it for a class that you are booked for or a stall booking in the future, or it is required for legal reasons or to prevent harm (see section above).  It is your right to access, correct, port and erase such personal data (i.e. the “right to be forgotten”), and to withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data.
Our Policies for Children
We appreciate the importance of taking additional measures to protect children’s privacy.  For children’s craft classes we will record the child’s name and the telephone number of the parent or responsible person so that they can be contacted in case of emergency. 
Who We Are and How To Contact Us
