Create realistic looking leaves using Lutradur with textile artist Karen Lane on Saturday 12th February 10.30 - 3.30pm
In this workshop we will be creating realistic looking leaves using Lutradur, an exciting, heat manipulative fabric with many creative possibilities. It can be can be cut with scissors or a soldering iron, painted, stitched and distressed using a heat gun to form beautiful, lacy leaves.
These leaves can be framed or go on to decorate wreaths, brooches, greetings cards, art quilts, etc.
Please bring a packed lunch, your acrylic, koinor, Inktense or fabric paints and your sewing machine with a free motion foot and thread. Your thread must be 100% cotton, rayon or Viscose - not polyester as this will burn! Suitable for all abilities.
