Join Purple Meadow Arts & Crafts for a Book Box workshop on Saturday 13th September, 2025 10.30 - 1.30pm
Join Jill and Karl in this 3hr workshop, were you will make a book box with a candle, which is not only decorative, but can be used for storage. .
You will be using Powertex and natural embellishments, to decorate the book box. All materials, will be provided that will help you create a bespoke piece that will be full of texture.
After you have finished creating your piece , it will then be dried whilst you relax with a cup of tea or coffee. Then you will be shown how to add colour using a dry brush painting technique to highlight all the texture and take your table decoration to another dimension,
The pictures here is of a finished book box, however you will be given a choice of various embellishments/colours to make yours completely unique to you.
