In this workshop, suitable for beginners, improving and competent stitchers, you will stitch one of three embroidered brooch designs.
1) Embroider found objects onto felt created from upcycled clothing, add a beaded edging and attach to a kilt pin to make a banner style brooch.
2) Roll and stitch a felted ‘sausage’ into a spiral brooch with a decorative stitched beaded picot edging.
3) Use silk ribbon to embroider realistic rose sprays onto hand dyed vilene to make a pretty brooch.
All materials and equipment for one brooch will be provided, including tea and coffee. Extra kits available to buy.
