Introduction to seamless knitting
If you have mastered basic knit and purl stitches on two needles this class is your next step to knitting in the round and to make a cosy wrist warmer.
Using Double Pointed Needles and chunky yarn, your tutor Jo, will demonstrate how to master the first foundation row and some simple hacks for not getting in a twist!
You will use two different sized needles, and also incorporate a cable design.
In the session you will be able to complete one wrist warmer and will leave confident to complete the second independently.
All materials to include 2 sets of DPN needles and yarn. Please bring a packed lunch.
About the tutor: Jo was taught how to knit when she was 5 by her mother and has been knitting ever since. She studied textiles at school and went on to do a first degree in Textile Marketing where she began to design her own patterns and has designed this pattern especially for the class.
