Life Drawing Class at the North Sea Observatory Gallery Sat 21st September 2019 10.30 - 3.30pm
In association with the Alford Craft Market Centre -Join Lincolnshire artist Jane West for a life drawing day in the stunning surroundings of the North Sea Observatory, Chapel Point. This large and creative space is full of natural light with views directly over the beach - wonderfully inspirational!
Jane is happy to offer guidance if required but you are more than welcome to come along and just make the most of this fabulous professional model. Please note that the poses plan to be dynamic and plentiful - the longest being no more than 40 minutes.
Please bring all your own materials - only dry materials to be used - no ink, gouache, oil paints. Chairs will be available. 16 years + please bring your own drawing implements and paper/sketchbooks. Cafe available for refreshments and lunch, or bring your own picnic for the beach.
Model Julian Lewis
Employed accross the UK by aleliers, universities, art studios and workshops, Julian regularly models for The Ruskin, and cites working for Sarah Simblet, Tania Coleridge and Wemin He as his highlights of the year so far.
He has modelled for the England Women's Rugby World Cup winning team and several best selling authors. Julian mixes extremely dynamic expressions with the classical and neoclassical and replicates his favourite works from Michelangelo, Rodin, Desire Court, Raphael, Sargent, Leonardo da Vinci and Caravaggio.
