Information for new art and craft stallholders, Shop seller applicants, prospective Tutors and criteria

,
Alford Craft Market promotes quality Lincolnshire Arts and Crafts, and is run solely by volunteers. From it's start in 1974 it's aim has been to promote, encourage and foster the genuine arts and crafts of Lincolnshire and the surrounding area.

How to apply

Please remember that this is for handmade original and craft only.

If you are a new applicant please contact us by phone (07920409253) or email with your name and contact details and a little bit of information about your work.
We have an approval process where our Committee, who meet monthly,  will view your work 'in the flesh' so you will need to bring it physically to us or you can post it to the Alford Craft Market Centre in readiness for the next Committee meeting.  Using the criteria below we will make a decision, letting you know the decision on the day after the Committee meeting.

Criteria:
  • All items must be made to a high standard.
  • Must involve a skill or original idea and be of your own design.
  • No assembly or bought in ready-to-use components.
  • No computer downloaded artwork or craft kits.
  • All items must be handmade by you.
  • You should be based in Lincolnshire.

Once your work has been approved we will send you the booking forms for the coming year, for shop sellers we will send you our Shop Terms and Conditions, and tutors will be contacted by the classes organiser.

Click here to enquire about having a stall, joining our shop or becoming one of our tutors. We look forward to hearing from you.

For 2026 we are pleased to let you know we will have most of our events at the beautiful Alford Corn Exchange - a lovely indoor venue with a great position in the main Market Place, lots of light and warmth, along with the popular tea room at the rear of the main hall. All our events are well publicised using the Lincolnshire Pride and Lincolnshire Life magazines, Facebook (boosted) and Instagram advertising, local papers and leaflets. All Alford events are supported by the Alford Craft Market Shop which will be open every weekend when our events are on. Currently there is free car parking in all the Alford Car Parks for our customers.

Our Easter Craft Market will be back to being a 4 day event.
We are unable to hold our Spring Bank Holiday Weekend Craft Market due to the ongoing building work at Alford Manor House, so we will be back at Alford Corn Exchange for this 4 day event.
As an exciting addition to our regular events we are having a weekend event 27th/ 28th June at the Seaview Colonnade, Sutton on Sea.
August Bank Holiday Weekend - The Alford Manor House 50 week building work started in late July 25 and may not be completed on time, so we have relocated again to a 4 day event at Alford Corn Exchange.
We are holding two Alford Christmas Craft Markets over the last 2 weekends in November, the 2nd weekend will coincide with the Alford Town Promotions Extravaganza at Alford Corn Exchange.
