CLASS REVIEWS:

13.1.2026 Pottery with Charlotte
  • It was a brilliant workshop today, we really enjoyed it and can't wait to see our finished items once they've been fired  Charlotte was an excellent teacher, explained everything really well and helped out with any issues and questions.

11.1.2026 Sketching with Louise Earnshaw
  • I have enjoyed spending quality time to explore different styles with different media. I now have many ideas to help me enjoy getting creative and to give art more of a focus in my life.
  • Enjoyed exploring the different mediums used. It has shown me the possibility of what can be achieved sketching. Nice to try different approaches, the circle activity was a way to explore use of colour and marks.
  • The mark making concept was a new one for me and made it more accessible to a beginner. Good ideas were shared and how to build them into a sketching practice. Lou has a great style in sharing her talent and encouraging having a go with no pressure.
  • Enjoyable workshop with activities to practice techniques and giving inspiration to continue sketching. Tried some new ways of sketching.

I have really appreciated the opportunity to try out different mediums to experiment with. Surprised myself that I was pulled towards sketching with pens.
13.12.2025 - I made a thing !! I am sooo proud of this and can’t wait to give it to the person it’s meant for !
And when I say I made it… like literally cut out the glass leaves, wet sanded them and then put them all together. Added the beads … like EVERYTHING.. in just a few hours ! I had the absolute best time at Alford Craft Market class and all the participants were amazing!! Even made some new friends !
I can hardly wait for my next class !

27.10.2025 I just wanted to thank you once again for the fabulous class you delivered yesterday.  You are a great teacher, extremely informative and helpful - I thoroughly enjoyed learning how to make my gorgeous ring set, my friends are very envious (but I will give them your details so they can make something with you too).
